How Wireless Portable Printers Could Change Your Life

Sometimes I have moments where I really think that wireless portable printers are an overlooked piece of technology. Would they improve everyone's life? Probably not, but there are some people out there who need constant and rapid printing on the go that'll never have even heard of them. If you can place yourself in their shoes and consider how much easier your life would be if you could pull out a machine that could print separate of the mains electricity as well as cables and wires.

But surprisingly it's not people travelling on the road who I think would benefit the most from this piece of technology - I think it would be more useful in the home than anywhere else.

Your average modern family consists of four people all of whom will need to be printing out work at some point. Whether this is homework for the children or boring office work for the parents everyone still needs to print. The hardship arises when there's only one printer shared between all of these people. It always happens where the print is stuck in one of the rooms and printing isn't a matter of sorting out the situation yourself, it's a matter of pestering the person who was unlucky enough to accept the printer into their room into accepting your usb stick and printing the file you request. Usually it's the father.

But imagine a house printing with a wireless portable printer - where it was everyone's responsibility. It's gone from a stationary to a portable printer, so when you need to print you have to take control and put it into your bedroom and print. Not only this, but the need for wires is reduces completely so you can print from it effortlessly. It moves the onus away from one person fulfilling everyone's printing needs to a collective effort where it's everyone's responsibility to take care of and control of the printer! That could change your life if you're the overworked, underpaid dad!
